CULTURAL RE-GENERATION
Open media group is a partner to the Centre for cultural activities on the ESF project Cultural Re-generation. The project has been implemented since February 2021 and lasts 12 months.
The target group of projects are persons over 54 years of age who offer a wide range of online interactive content through activities that will help them safely reintegrate into society and maintain mental and physical agility. The project aims to improve the quality of life and satisfy the cultural needs of the elderly in society. Literary club, creative writing workshops, dance courses and art expression workshops are available all over Croatia during the course. 104 people over the age of 54 will thus prepare themselves for inclusion in the digital everyday life.
- Joint reading is a literary club that encourages reading, discussion and communication – joint socializing. Once a month, the members meet at Zoom and discuss a book that everyone has read under the leadership of a well-established writer.
- I remember and write is a creative writing program to document memories. Workshops are held in a cycle of 6 webinars over three months in which users acquire writing skills.
- I dance, so I live is a modern dance course adjusted to the age of the target group. The duration is three months, and the frequency is once a week.
- Black and white in colour is a programme of visual creativity for those who want to draw and paint pastels. The estimated duration is three months, twice a month.
